How CognitiveSaaS Digital collects, uses, and retains personal data when you use this site or book planning sessions.

Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, plan of interest, optional holdings count, preferred date, message content
  • Email/phone correspondence: contents you send us
  • Session materials: holdings lists and calculator screenshots you voluntarily provide
  • Technical: essential cookies and, if accepted, analytics cookies (see Cookies)

We do not ask for private keys, seed phrases, or full account passwords. Do not send them.

Purposes

We use data to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver planning sessions, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Legitimate interests in operating a planning practice, performance of a requested service contract, and consent for non-essential cookies.

Retention

Enquiry messages are retained up to 24 months unless a client relationship continues. Session worksheets and holdings materials are retained up to 36 months after the last engagement, then deleted or anonymised, unless longer retention is required by law or dispute. Cookie identifiers follow durations in the cookies table.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, email) who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by Hong Kong law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

If tools or processors store data outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable requirements.

Your rights

Subject to Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other applicable rules, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold, and withdraw cookie consent for non-essential cookies. Email info@cognitivesaas.digital with “Privacy request” in the subject.

Security

We use access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS) for the site. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please minimise sensitive detail in initial form messages.

Children

Services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

We will post updates on this page with a revised date.
